About me
Hello;
My name is Rita; I welcome you to my little corner of the internet. I am a daughter of the Most High; a wife; a mother; and a homemaker.
I believe in complimentarianism; which is a theological view that men and women are created equal in dignity and value but have distinct, complementary roles in the home and church, with men typically taking on leadership roles. The complimentarian view emphasizes that our roles as men and women, while different, are equally important and contribute to a harmonious whole and thus reflecting the relationship between Christ and the church.
With this mindset, I get so much satisfaction and delight in carrying out the roles as a wife and a mother as illustrated and instructed in the bible. I work full-time outside the home but my heart is in the home. I believe a woman doesn't have to be stay-at-home mom/wife to be a homemaker.
My goal as the homemaker is to create a simple, happy, peaceful, lived-in home which is functional, comfortable, and reflects our personalities and lifestyle as followers of Jesus Christ. I aim at creating a welcoming environment that prioritizes comfort and practicality over extravagance or perfection.
Join me as I share my experiences; thoughts; and opinions about; but not limited to faith; family; motherhood and homemaking.
Mrs. Kakumba.
